Fundraising

Fundraising initiatives take many forms and represent a very important way for members of our community to join together and support our hospitals.

In recent years funds raised together with donations and government and philanthropic assistance have helped to bring about a very marked difference to the services we can offer. It is also true that when people form action groups to raise money for WWHS they simultaneously build a sense of pride and social cohesion in their communities. We rely on the energy and imagination of our fundraisers to continue to underpin the quality and effectiveness of our health provision, the excellence of our facilities and the advanced equipment we are able to install.

The outcome of our fundraising efforts can be variable depending on the activities organised, or the financial climate in the region and were a little disappointing this year.

West Wimmera Health Service is a Deductible Gift Status organisation therefore all donations over $2.00 to this health service are Tax Deductible.
