Urgent Care
24-hour urgent care is available at four hospital sites within the West Wimmera Health Service. They are – Jeparit, Kaniva, Nhill and Rainbow.
These departments are organised for the reception of people in need of pressing, immediate treatment.
Upon arrival those requiring urgent care will be assessed by nurses or medical officers and appropriate courses of action with be put in place.
As the Urgent Care service is specifically designed to respond to instances requiring immediate attention it should be noted that other medical conditions that not as pressing should be assessed by medical staff after making an appointment at the nearest medical clinic.
In the event of a medical emergency, call Ambulance Victoria on 000.
