West Wimmera Health Service has an exciting opportunity for a Dental Assistant to join our team!
Based in the Nhill Dental Clinic on a casual basis, you will provide the efficient delivery of public and private dental services at West Wimmera Health Service.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, the community and many more!
- Achieve the highest standard of patient care through supporting Dental Clinicians in line with relevant policies.
- Provide the appropriate and efficient delivery of public and private dental services.
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Demonstrate a high level of clinical competence and initiative
- Demonstrate knowledge of dental public health promotion principles.

Social Support Assistant (Men's Matters Program), Part Time, Minyip
West Wimmera Health Service are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Social Support team on a part time basis.
About the role:
Our bright and enthusiastic Social Support team plan and run group activity sessions, regular outings, and the daily administration of our inclusive and engaging programs. These activity-based groups enable people to live inclusively and maximise their social connections, through a wide variety of interests.
Our programs are designed to cater for everyone's needs, so each person can enjoy great company, connect with people and have fun!
This is a rewarding and diverse role! You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our social support participants to design and achieve individualised, engaging activities in a friendly and social environment.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering quality services for Social Support group sessions.
- Provide care and supervision to clients in line with the promotion of an independent living environment.

Our catering services play an integral role in the health, wellbeing and experience of our customers.
We are looking for an inidivudal to join our team as the Chef in Charge in a full time or part time capacity.
Based at our Rupanyup site, you will manager all Hospitality and Environmental Services staff across the Rupanyup, Miniyip and Murtoa campuses.
You will be responsible of the running of the kitchen and provide guidance to other team members of the department. You will work in collaboration with our professional catering team to prepare quality meals for our patients and residents as well as maintaining a clean and safe environment.
The Chef in Charge manages all aspects of menu planning, food preparation, serving, supply and storage of food.
Good communication and team skills are necessary to successfully fullfil this role.

West Wimmera Health Service provides high-quality hospital care, residential aged care, disability services and community services to more than 16,000 people in the West Wimmera region. We deliver services that are compassionate, responsive, accessible and accountable to individual and community needs and which are designed to achieve quality outcomes.
We employ close to 600 staff across nine campuses at Nhill, Kaniva, Jeparit, Rainbow, Goroke, Natimuk, Murtoa, Minyip and Rupanyup. Our organisation has a total of 150 residential aged care beds, 54 acute beds and a broad range of community health services available from many of our campuses, keeping our community well at home.
