Bursary Support Available – Applications Open for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Positions

Opportunities for financial support through our bursary program are currently open for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy applicants.

The following support benefits are applicable to approved recipients of a Service bursary on the provision that they have passed all subjects studied:

  1. Payment/reimbursement of up to 50% of course fees up to a maximum yearly total of $7,000
  2. Payment/reimbursement of required text books and learning aids up to a maximum of $1,000 per year  

Where a bursary is granted, 50% of the payment or reimbursement will be made upfront and the remainder paid in instalments after each year of employment.  

For a four year full-time course the bursary recipient will be expected to work for at least four years (full time) for the Health Service.

Our ‘Wimmera Smiles’ dental clinic is a part of West Wimmera Health Service in rural Western Victoria. Our team provides oral health care at our main Nhill clinic, as well as via our mobile Dental Van, and at our other sites of Kaniva, Goroke and Rainbow located within our West Wimmera Health Service catchment.

We deliver quality care to both private and public patients within our communities. Our aim is to improve the oral health of all of our customers.
