Cancer Support Services
Our Cancer Support Services are here to walk alongside you and your loved ones through every step of your journey. Whether you’ve just been diagnosed, are currently undergoing treatment, or adjusting to life after cancer, our caring team is here to offer guidance, support, and connection across all nine of our sites. Explore our local support groups, meet your dedicated nurses, and find the right resources for you.
What we offer
We provide local, compassionate support to individuals living with cancer, as well as their carers, families, and support networks.
Our dedicated Cancer Support Nurses deliver care across all nine WHHS sites, offering both individual support and group sessions. This includes face-to-face and phone consultations, as well as facilitating cancer support groups within the community.
Support is available at any stage of the cancer journey—from diagnosis, through treatment, to survivorship or palliative care. We’re here to offer a listening ear, provide up-to-date information, connect you with available services, and link in with specialist cancer care providers
In addition to direct support, our Cancer Support Nurses work within the community to promote cancer screening and prevention initiatives.
