Graduate Nursing Program at WWHS
At West Wimmera Health Service we believe in providing a supportive environment to graduate nurses that encourages professional development and excellence in the provision of health care.

We will endeavour to make your graduate year program enriching, challenging and enjoyable.
WWHS provides graduate nurses with the opportunity to consolidate and apply knowledge while developing skills in a variety of settings.
We offer two intakes each year — in February and July — providing flexibility to align with your transition into practice. These start dates are designed to accommodate varying graduation timelines and personal circumstances, ensuring a smooth and supported entry into the program when the time is right for you.
To ensure a high standard of learning, personalised support, and meaningful engagement, we limit each intake to a maximum of four participants. This small group setting allows us to tailor our approach to individual needs, foster stronger connections, and create a more focused and supportive learning environment.
Our Graduate Nurse Program runs for 52 weeks, offering both full-time and part-time options to support your work–life balance. Graduates will be offered a minimum 24-hour per week employment contract, with flexible working arrangements available.
