We are pleased to officially confirm that the Rupanyup Nursing home project has received the additional funding required to proceed. This significant milestone ensures the project can continue as planned and represents a strong vote of confidence in its value to the local community.
With this confirmation, we are now in a position to formally announce the news to the public, the building contractor as Nicolson Construction. The project kicked off on 13 May 2025 and is expected to be completed early next year.
This funding will enable us to deliver on key project outcomes and bring long-term benefits to the Rupanyup region. Stage 1 of the project includes the construction of seven individual bedrooms with ensuites, a new kitchen and dining area, storage for linen and equipment, a lounge area, an external terrace with footpath access to the garden, a quiet lounge with a private patio, and landscaping featuring an outdoor pavilion with a kitchenette and toilet. We would like to thank all partners and stakeholders for their ongoing support and
commitment.
While the core funding is now secured, any additional donations are still warmly welcomed and will go directly toward furniture, fittings, and final touches that will help make the space as welcoming and functional as possible. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.
Further details on the project timeline and next steps will be shared shortly.
